Racism of the Worst Kind

I try hard not to be racist. But, there's this one race that is constantly doing things to undermine its own best interests. It kills members of its own race one-on-one, practices genocide, makes war against its own kind, doesn't take proper care of its poor and sick, and isn't particularly kind to its environment.

I think we all know the race I'm talking about... it's the human race. Despite my best efforts, I can't seem to overcome my prejudice against it. If my spaceship weren't out of commission, I'd head back to the planet I came from. Meanwhile, to avoid problems, I'm "passing". I figure, if they treat their own kind this badly, imagine how they'd treat me if they knew where I come from. <shudder>
